As we began our missionary journey here in the Western States in mid-2008, the Lord began to burden our hearts to construct a warehouse, from which we would supply pastors and other missionaries who are serving in the Western States, with much needed supplies. After much prayer and waiting, we are seeing this our burden become reality!
The grading contractor has come and gone, and the pad is ready and prepared for the construction of a 50 x 50 building!
We have been praying for volunteer workers to help us begin this project, and the Lord has answered that prayer by sending our first group of volunteers this coming week! Volunteers will begin to arrive on Thursday, May 19 and will continue throughout the week until May 28! Our main focus, at this time, will be the foundation and floor of the building. We are expecting a second volunteer missions group in June, from the 17th through the 25th. If all goes as planned, we will, at this time, begin up with the walls of the building, putting us one step closer to realizing our prayers for help to those who so faithfully serve here in Wyoming and the surrounding states.
God is so good!! He is right on time, and His provision is perfect!
We ask for your prayers for safety of the workers who will join us, unity of the brethren, and the completion of the building to God's glory!
If you, or your church group would like to join our effort, please contact us.
The missions warehouse exterior is now complete!! Thanks to volunteer groups from Gillette, Wy, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, we completed, in June, the exterior of the building!!
The garage doors are now installed in the building, the debt on the concrete has been reduced to $2700.00, and by faith, we have ordered the trenching for the electrical lines to be begun! Praise the Lord! Following completion of debt on the concrete, we will begin electrical/insulation work!
Things are moving right along!! The debt for the concrete has now been COMPLETELY satisfied and we are on our way!! The insulation work, which will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $13,000, was ordered today! We are becoming more excited as we see our vision become reality!
Amazing!! Things are progressing at such speed that we can hardly believe it!! The insulation work on the warehouse was ordered and begun on Friday, September 14, and as of this morning, totally complete!! The Lord has provided the financing at $12,750 for this project, and we are trusting HIM to take care of this debt! Our first truck of supplies arrived last night 9/16/12. Our thanks to S&K Trucking, Mills River, NC, for hauling this load for us! It never ceases to amaze us to see the Lord's provision! The truck not only carries some additional building supplies and a fork lift for the warehouse, but also some personal items as well! God is good! Our thanks to Bro. Kevin Langley for the doors and windows that arrived on this load as well!
Watching the progress of this missions project is amazing! As of today, 10/19/12, we now have new doors installed in both the side and front of the missions warehouse. Our thanks to Bro. Kevin Langley, for these doors. We were introduced to Bro. Langley and his family this past year, while they were on a missions trip here in Wyoming. Their family has been a blessing to us!
The construction phase of the Missions Warehouse is nearing completion. The electrical work is now done and awaiting final inspection. We are planning a dedication service and meeting May 27-28, 2013! Our hearts are overjoyed at the Lord's provision for this project, and we are anticipating great things!
The final inspection on the electrical work has passed and we are planning a celebration! Join us on May 27, 2013, at 1 PM for the dedication service for the Western Baptist Missions Warehouse. BBQ lunch to follow and evening services at 6 PM with Pastor Mark Stroud of Dahlonega, GA, preaching. Services on May 28, 2013, 6 PM, with Evangelist John Morgan of Zirconia, NC, preaching! Our hearts are thrilled as we dedicate the building to the Lord for HIS GLORY!!
We were blessed recently with a pull-behind, enclosed trailer, which will help make the transport of goods to missionaries much easier for us. The graphics are complete and we'd like to share the final image with you! Thanking God for HIS blessings!!
